Municipal leaders and mayors get together for a special meeting – The Mayor’s Meeting – to come to a mutual agreement of a ”Promise to the future”. In this manifesto it is declared how decision makers will address children and youth’s messages and how they intend to realize them in their home district.
Declaration from the 1st World Championship in Cooperation

We, municipalities and districts thank you all children and young
people who have partcipated in the 1st World Championship in
Cooperation.** You have shown us examples of cooperation across many
borders such as age, culture and nations.By listening to you children
and young people, and by trusting each other, we are able to find new
possibilities and solutions to what is threatening a happy, sustainable
future. We therefore acknowledge your desires, ideas and thoughts and
promise to dwell upon them with serious concerns and we promise: * To
listen to you children and young people and respect your opinions * To
use your knowledge in our work
* To always consider the best of all children and young people and to respect the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child
* To hand over a sustainable world to the coming generation, where the major environmental issues are solved
* To, as the first participators of the World Championship in
Cooperation, regard ourselves protectors of the event with the ambition
to support and to take part in the World Championship in Cooperation
